About this Professional
We used to have Feast or Famine economic situations. We now have a hybrid situation. There is absolutely a feast available for any pool builder that wants to sell a record number of pools. This however has led to a famine of labor and materials. Currently instead of 3-5 days between crews or subcontractors it's now 3-5 weeks, maybe 3-6 months to complete, we don't really know anymore and it's still getting worse for many of the trades. At the rate this is going there will probably be a vast amount of pools that will eventually go "work stop" for an indefinite amount of time. There are a few builders out there still trying to sell as many pools as they can with no regard for time frame or the customer. This may not end well.
